J|R|G Red Wine
Columbia Valley 2008

Dark maroon/garnet color. Clean and
sweet aromas of crushed red fruits...
The flavors display ample dried cherry
and currant fruit along with soft nuances
of vanilla and cola.  There is plenty of
flavor and punch in this wine…Tasty
and ready to drink now.

Pamplin Family Winery
Proprietary Red
Columbia Valley 2008 $50

91 Points  Pamplin has produced a
blend of cabernet sauvignon, malbec,
petit verdot, and merlot that
is dark in color and closed up very
tightly at present with aromas of
raspberries, pencil lead, rose hips,
and pepper.  The palate shows
both a lushness and a restrained
elegance.  Give it two years in the
cellar to develop.

Columbia Valley 2008  $30

EXCELLENT  Dark in color.  A pleasingly
aromatic wine marked by brioche, plum,
black cherry, wood spice and incense.
Palate is medium bodied with tart, focused
cherry fruit flavors that linger on a long finish.
An imprssively throttled back wine.

Columbia Valley 2007

Rich, full-bodied red
This Bordeaux-style wine is a blend of
Columbia Valley Merlot and Malbec.
Despite its youth, the ripe, lush fruit
shines through a well-balanced tannic
structure.  This first release is outstanding
both in quality and value.  With only
164 cases produced, don’t expect this price
to last once word gets out.
